WHAT HAPPENED TO THE SITE?
Short answer: the site's PHP software was so old that it was no longer compatible with the modern server configuration the hosting company used, among other problems.
ARE THE FORUMS STILL HERE?
Yes, the forums are still as they were going back to 2003. You can still make posts/threads and access older topics exactly the same as you could before.
WILL MY OLD LOGIN USERNAME AND PASSWORD WORK FOR THE FORUMS?
Yes, you will still use the same account, username, and password.
WHAT ABOUT THE BRAGGING BOARD?
For whatever reason, the Photopost software is in an abandoned state. It has no successors to continue updating it for modern internet architecture.
I've still got all the pictures and data, and eventually hope to transfer the Bragging Board to the forum proper.
WHY DID YOU CHANGE THE SITE'S APPEARANCE?
It wasn't really an option to keep it looking the exact same as before. We're using a different website layout and host that allows us to separate the site between the forums and everything else. That way, if one goes down, the other will still be up.
WHERE ARE THE ARTICLES, RECIPES, HANDLOADS, ETC.?
We still have the data for all of that, it's just that converting that data into the new format will take some time. My priority was the forum above all else.
