2015 GA bear

Description: Public land , on the ground, northeast Georgia bear taken on a soggy day with a TC 35 Rem. He field dressed at 169 lbs. That would put him right at 200 lbs live. I was just shy of a mile from the truck and nearly a quarter of that was steep uphill. I brought him out solo. What a satisfying hunt.

Thanks guys. My 35 is a Super 14 with a TC 3x scope shooting Federal factory 200s. If you look through my photos you will see I use it alot. It is my favorite gun. It has manageable recoil, puts bullets on target quickly, and makes holes on the backside of said targets.
