Now that would really be something! I have watched a few polar bear hunts on video and they look brutal! even to a fella like me who is not scared of the cold!

looks awesome, took a few shots, but then again, i know a friend of mine in the army that had to hit one a few times with a 50 cal machine gun after it continued to wander into their "camp".

Neat. I once heard a world record polar bear was taken by a hunter with a 44 Magnum revolver.

TN, that was Bob Petersen (the publishing magnate) who took the polar bear with a nickel plated 6 1/2-inch Model 29, loaded with Norma 240 grain Triclad bullets.

Yeah, I still have some. My only complaint is that they are not a little heavier. They have a good flat nose, they are really hard and not really designed to expand, but they are only 240 grains. But they are neat bullets!
