Target From the NC Shoot

Description: We had this Ram set up at just under 400 yds--If you look the thru holes are from my .308 Encore the group of 4 thru holes on the lower left is the group I shot (3 shots CTC is about 2" with the one flier out about 4") the others were from other shooters--The light gray marks are from my Bisley 44mag with the 2X scope---The group of 4 shots that are large silver dents (upper left) are from my .356 Win Encore

The actual distance was 376+/-this is 1/2" 7022 high hard aerospace AL --I was shocked the 150 Corelock Rem's from the 308 went clean thru. The 180 SSPB's from the 356 made a good dent but there was not hole like on the 308--also with the 356 I found it much harder to connect with the target--I shot over the target 2 times before I droped down to the right elevation at 400 with the 356--but keep in mind that is about as far as I have shot that setup --200/250 for the 356 is perfect past that it drops off pretty quick--- now the 308 I have streached much more prior--it is a hammer if you get a good rest but it does not do well off-hand----Like Kim said if I get a good rest(on my new Tigger Table) it is over for the west Texas Mule deer

If it jams force it! If it breaks it needed replacing anyway.

nice shooting,thanks for the info. on the .308,I think more and more that this caliber will be the next addition to the Williams family.Really hope the wife doesn't read this thread-L.O.L.
