Darrell, I've had it for about four months or thereabouts.

John, with the 425 grain loads at 1,450, it's brutal off the bench, not so bad offhand. With a bit milder loads it's quite comfortable to shoot.

Good lookin' shooter! I envision pictures of dead Carolina hogs in your future...

I bet that is a handful off the bench!

James, it's a factory piece by BFR - it will eventually go to Huntington for a Bisley grip frame (they just seem to work better with my hands.

Compared to the Alaskan -- different animal. This one is a horse and the Alaskan is an elephant!

Actually blooded it last weekend on a couple of small meat hogs, but will hopefully kill something more meaningful soon!

AAAHHH!!! That's a sweetheart!! If they made a BFR with a bisley gripgrame, I'd be all over that! I heard that that is comparable to the 500 Wyoming Express. Is that correct? - Matt

Basically the same cartridge, Matt. It is the most accurate revolver I have had the pleasure of owning. Matt, there is a grip frame fix for it -- PM me for details.
