BEEN SHOOTING REMINGTON THUNDERBOLTS IN A RUGER SINGLE SIX 22LR. ACCURATE AT FIRST BUT THEN ACCURACY FADES FAST. AFTER A 100 ROUNDS OR SO YOU CAN MINE LEAD OUT OF YOUR BARREL, HOLY S... NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE IT. CHECKED THE INTERNET AND FOR YEARS THE REM THUNDERBOLTS HAVE BEEN BIG TIME LEADERS AND AT 22 VELOICITIES TO BOOT. IF YOU GOT ANY OF THIS STUFF AND SHOOT IT, BE PREPARED TO CLEAN YOUR GUN EVERY 50 ROUNDS. IF YOU ARE LUCKY AND DON'T HAVE ANY, DON'T BOTHER TO BUY ANY.

BTW, I TRIED SOME OTHER REMINGTON 22's IN THIS REVOLVER AND NO LEADING PROBLEMS.

Go to the Rimfire forum and see the conscious on Thunderbolt ammo, about the worst ammo out there with Golden Bullets running a close second. There a lot of other options for less money without the leading problems. I prefer Aguila HV ammo in my handgun but find what shoots best.
