Pros:
Quality of the glass, very clear optically, positive click adjustments on the windage and elevation, finger adjustable, fine crosshairs in a plex design, FOV is very comparable to other top brands.
Cons:
Relatively large size of the ocular end of the scope, rubber ring on eye piece want's to come off.

I've shot 6 rounds through my new SRH with this scope and the cross hairs have come out of alignment with the centerline of the scope. They have rotated to the left. I called Nikon and they told me to send it back. It's going out today. So far I'm unimpressed. When I get it back and can shoot more than 6 rounds with it I'll hopefully be able to revise my review.

So I got a call from Nikon regarding my returned scope and they said that they need to replace the scope I sent back (Encore) with a Monarch because they don't have any Encores at this time. He said that they are having "a few little problems" with the Encore and "they are in the process of remanufacturing" them. He said that the Monarch is a "superior" scope to the Encore...he had no answer when I asked about the $100 additional cost for the Encore over the Monarch. I'm getting my money back.
