Pros:	It work`s.....
Cons:

I used the 44mag 250gr Partition Gold ammo in my Redhawk w/7 1/2" barrel to take a 150lb meat boar with a shoulder hit that dropped him on his nose.The shot was about 20yds with complete penetration.I also used 454 260gr Part.Gold ammo in my Freedom Arms m83 with 7 1/2"barrel.With 3"groups @100yds I used this gun and load combination last year (12-06)at the YO ranch SCI hunt to take a nice 8 point Seika buck @40yds with a lung shot.The next day I dropped a Seika doe with a Texas heart shot at 30yds.Three animals with three shots... I see why they call it "Partition Gold" ammunition.............

Pros:	Great expansion and penetration
Cons:	They don`t make a .41 partition bullet

I recently used the 260gr partition from my FA 454 to take an excellent boar with the recovered bullet losing less then 10.0grs , weighing in at 250.3grs.That`s excellent weight retention. I also used my handload of a 300gr partition bullet over a good charge of H-110 to drop a 6ft 4in Alaskan spring black bear with one shot at 40yds. This handload gave me 3 shot, 1" groups at 50yds from my Freedom Arms 454. Winchester Supreme ammo using the Partition bullet is excellent ammunition for the handgun hunter.
