another victim of TC 22 Mag

Description: Another critter falls to the TC custom shop 22 Mag at about 85 yards. I am revisiting this barrel now that ammo is once again available.

Cool! What ammo are you experimenting with?

The barrel and I have always preferred the classic CCI MAXI MAG 40 gr. HP. During the rimfire shortage, they were hard to find compared to the 30 grain loads. I tried the 30 grain V-Max from Hornady and CCI. They shot well enough, and seemed more explosive, but I can't be swayed from the traditional 40 grain weight.
