Snowvine Buster "success" Bullets

Description: First off, these are not my recovered bullets...these bullets obviously were recovered from dead animals, so they worked, but the results, may or may not surprise you...the first two 300 gr cast Bullets were the "finishers" from a iron sighted 45 Colt (loaded HOT) they were fired from approximately 35 yards into the neck to very quickly end the large bovines life. There were two 300 gr XTP's fired into the heart/lung area of that bovine at 65 yards. 1 XTP gave complete pass through, the other was stopped on the offside, just under the hide...the XTP's dropped the elusive bovine, but...instant death was the goal, so a quick run up and the 2 casts finished the job....yep the XTP's out penetrated the cast at almost twice the distance... INTERSTING....the last bullet is from a 35 Rem single shot pistol (200 gr FTX) at 90 yards on a large bovine....1 shot, impressive penetration...2, maybe 3 steps, and death....no finisher needed.....INTERESTING

GOOD PICTURE AND REPORT. LOOKS LIKE THE CASTS WERE GOING "TOO FAST"

We learned that D.M.V. Dynamic Meplat Variable is an interesting subject. All of these bullets worked and did their jobs to contribute to success. My surprise was how fast the Hornady bullets, both handgun and rifle, dropped the beef. Both animals hit the dirt in two shots or less...those gentlemen can really shoot...excellent job fellows

I like exit wounds, but I don't mind pulling bullets like these, that did their job, from cleanly killed animals.

The bullet on the far right is an expanded 200 gr Hornady FTX from a 35 Remington
