Description: I shot my first groundhog of 2018 with 22 Mag Contender. An 87 yard headshot- in the left nostril, out the right ear. Eye opening accuracy.

This is a Thompson Center Custom shop barrel. It is a seldom seen 12 inch "scalloped " profile. It is stepped down round on the bottom with two flats on the side, and a vent rib on top. I picked it up used over 20 years ago. The previous owner had it MagnaPorted. ??? Topped with a 4x Leupold, it shoots good.

I WAS GOING TO ASK IF THAT WAS A MNP I SAW BUT THOUGHT "NO ONE WOULD MNP A RIMFIRE", GUESS THERE IS VIRTUALLY NO MUZZLE RISE. GREAT RIG!
