A very good start. I would be concerned with the front sight catching when drawing.Do you intend to remove it? I usually add my belt loop to the back as a separate piece,it doesn't take as big a piece of leather that way and I can control how I cant the holster better. Very nice work.

I did make this. The holster is 90% done and I will be posting a tutorial soon. I removed the front sight. There was no need for the sight since I never intend on removing the scope

Tutorial has been posted. I did the snap fold to attach to the belt because I wanted the option of removing the holster once I get in the tree stand. With all the clothes I wear in rifle season, I didn't want the holster to keep me from getting comfortable in my narrow tree stand. That way I don't have to fiddle with my belt.
