North Carolina and Alabama Trophys

Description: At the top of my bucket list is to take a trophy like one of these bucks with a handgun. These were taken in North Carolina and Alabama by myself with rifle and muzzleloader.

I have taken several deer in North Carolina with a handgun now but not one of this quality yet.

Great looking trophy wall. I'm jealous, I'd like to hunt in the east sometime.

Thanks guys! The buck in the middle was the last deer I killed in Alabama. The other two were taken locally here in North Carolina. The buck on the right has 11.5" G2s and a lot of mass and the one on the left is 20.5 inches wide.

I have several more that were killed in North Carolina that are good but not this good.

Nice deer! Is it still common to use the board plaques in the south and east these days? Seems to be from what I've seen. We kinda got away from the plaques around here several years ago. I have a few with plaques and was just recently reminiscing about those long-ago hunts.

One way is about as common as the other now. I have them both ways but my wife likes the plaques.
