Another snowshoe hare for the Charger

Description: I took a red potato, a carrot and a mushroom on a woods walk to hopefully make stew for dinner. I hoped to get a snowshoe hare, a grouse or a squirrel for the final ingredient. I wound up taking this hare and used one of the back legs to make the stew over a fire. It was delicious! The rest came home for another meal or two later.

ALREADY HUNTING IN SNOW, WOW. IN BROWNSVILLE, TEXAS IT SNOWS ONCE EVERY HUNDRED YEARS, AND I GOT TO SEE IT IN 2004 WHEN IT STARTED SNOWING ON CHRISTMAS EVE RIGHT AFTER THE 8:00 P.M. "MIDNIGHT" MASS. WHILE YOU WERE ENJOYING THE OUTDOORS THERE WAS PROBABLY A GOLFER BITC.... ABOUT THE SNOW.

Thanks guys! We've had snow on the ground in that area since mid-September. Lower down we get snow fairly often but its still warm enough that its melts off within a day or two.

Good eats! Use to cook pheasant in the field often, as well as duck.
