S&W "parts" gun

Description: This handgun started life as a mod 29 in 44mag.
I bought a model 58 cylinder and 4" barrel and had gunsmith fit them to the m29 frame. Smooth
trigger, tight cylinder and she shoots 41mag
Silvertips into tight 25yd groups. Good gun.
Let me add that the front sight on this m58 barrel is original S&W and NOT a custom add on.

This is a absolute great looking gun. What kind of grips are on the gun?

Rav, Those are a very old pair of Herrett grips that they sold with laser engraving and without a custom fit. I sanded off the engraving until they fit my hand. I still have an original pair with the engraving for my Python.

I too, love the .41 magnums. Your grips closely resemble Herretts Jordon Troopers? Very nice iron and grips.

Steve, Long ago Herretts offered a laser engraved grip without fitting, that was an oversized Jorden. I used sandpaper and file to make what you see.
