I can’t do any better than 6-8 in at 25 yards. I am going to send her back to the factory. I thought about trading her, but I don’t want to give some else my problem barrel.

That is a valid question. I shot this barrel as a rifle for the first part of its life. I have been working on loads for it for the past 5 years, on and off. I put the current set of Leupold mounts and rings on it a month ago. I have been shooting it with iron sights for a short time trying to get use to it as a pistol. When I took the other rings and base off they were still tight. On the new rings I put red lock tight on the base and blue on the rings. The scope is a brand new Bushnell, the same scope that is on my 22 Hornet. I seriously doubt it is the scope. I had a 2-7 Burris compact on it when it was a carbine. That scope is on my 22 LR now and shooting lights out.

I have tried three powders with three different bullets. I have even tried two different brands of factory ammo, two different loads in one brand. I really like the barrel and caliber, but if I can not get it to shoot, it is no good to me.
