400_deer_stand_1-21-2017

Description: I pulled up to the deer stand this morning to find what someone had been kind enough to do for me.

This is the stand I took my doe from this year. I've hunted here for several years and spent a bit of time building and tweaking the new stand just how I like it.

James,
We still have steel barrels hanging in trees scattered about in this part of the country. This was a simple 4' x 6' box but I had it exactly like I wanted; rubber on the floor, rolling office chair, mirrors, bucket for sandbags and sandbags, shelves and a black screen all the way around to help hide my silhouette. Not irreplaceable but I put a damn sight of work into it.

Rod, too.

Yep, we have it narrowed down to a guest's guest. If that makes sense. Which we don't allow and thus will never get the truth. I'm waiting on an cashier's check to show up for the damages. Bahahahahahahaha.

It sucks. I can and will rebuild it and know what I'll do differently. I'll sure miss that office chair and a few extras I'll have to scrounge around for though.
