10.9 mm Exit Wound

Description: 300 gr. XTP.....23 gr of 296....field surgery. The best I could do getting eaten alive by freakin skeeters. I peeled the hide off of the exit wound to show its size. Quite a bit of expansion with little material to travel through

Similar results to that of the Scottish Blackface ram....that bullet needs a thicker jacket...over expansion and came apart...it's fine for deer, but I won't use it on anything bigger than deer...I'd use one of my single shots..the 23 gr of 296 and the 9.5" barrel are a little too much for the bullet. Obviously I skinned the area around the hole to show the size of the exit wound

I totally agree. Too soft for anything else.
