I have to admit, I am hooked. I absolutely love this revolver. I have loaded up some different ammo with the intent of seeing what patterns the best at 25 yards. I have no intention of ever putting a scope on this one. I think it handles well with out it and that is not its original intent or design. Did I mention how much I like it?

Nice...Like Rod and James said, Now you don't have to make that first shot count. You have 5 more use...LOL..Just kid'n. Now, if you ever deside to, you have a base gun to send to Reeder. Great gun either way, you just need to break it in on something now...kral

TC, You are going to have alot of fun with your new SBH. The amount of cast and jacketed bullets available in .44 caliber is incredable!!! Don`t forget those 300 grainer`s that can be super accurate and carry plenty of punch downrange. Good luck and good hunting. James

I just put a new trigger and hammer spring in it. The hammer spring was a chore, but it is in.

300 grain bullets!?! I am currently loading Hornady 240 TXP. BUT, I am all ears!!

Love that SBH! A short barreled SBH is on my list. I know all about the hammer spring. I was lucky enough to have a set of pliers from Mike Bellm for compressing springs and they took all the "fun" out of it. I can't imagine trying to do that without the pliers though.
