10.9 mm Ram

Description: I just was going through some pics and found this one. Here's proof I don't always use a Competitor Single Shot. 300 gr. XTP hand loads. I used a 9.5" Ruger Super RedHawk in 10.9 mm Magnum

Yes Sir Duke, this is the one. The only thing that I can figure is that the dense, heavy hair and wool royally screwed up the bullet. A 300 gr. XTP should have worked perfectly in my mind, but that's why we test bullets on live game and not just on paper. Over expansion and lost cores.....hmmmm.......gonna try it out on WT's, I bet my results will be different.
