Finally connected with my Redhawk and Ultradot

Description: I shot this deer yesterday morning on ten acres of land my son and his wife plan to build on next year. When I took the shot I had looked him over and thought he was a doe but found out later he was a large button buck. This deer was traveling with another smaller deer. I thought it was a doe with a smaller deer.

Shot was 25 yards broadside but must have been slightly quartering toward me. Bullet entrance was tight behind the right shoulder and a few inches back behind the left shoulder.

Winchester white box 240 gr sjsp from my 5.5 inch redhawk with ultradot 30. Deer ran about 200 yards but left a good blood train and was no problem to find.

You have had a good season. Have you now christened all your hunting handguns?
