That is cool. What style of ignition, primer or cap?

Rob, this was t/c's first inline muzzloader, it uses a #11 percussion cap. The last year they were made was 1996, which was when the plant burned down. These were way before the 209 primer trend. With the design, it can't be converted either.

You lucky dog! I always been a fan of the TC Scout. I have a TC Firehawk that I converted to use musket caps. Not only did it become more reliable but it shot better groups.

KRal,
Thats a nice hogleg. They are hard to find. I have a couple of them. Mine shoots the 370 grain Maxi-Ball with 80 grains of FFG really well. Tried Pyrodex back in the day but the lock time was sloooow.

How do you like the iron sights?

TCScout, The iron sights are of great quality, but it has headgear now. I installed a 4X Simmons. I'm getting 1" groups at 50 yards with a dirty barrel. It is a little slow on locktime with the #11's and pyrodex, but I'm all out of black powder and it's hard to find on the shelf now day's. When I come across some, I'll be getting a can just for use in the Scout.
