I have the 376 Steyr in my Competitor & it's not nearly as bad as you would think. The 411 KDF I have in my latest Competitor barrel is a ballistic twin of the 416 Taylor. It's just a .411 instead of .416. This one one kicks like HELL Smile

The taylor isn't as bad as you might imagine. The key is proper barrel weight & a good brake.
