Description: This was a great hunt..Still hunted boar, in the snow, all morning.Climbed ridge and hide behind pine tree as boar came out of forest to feed on dry grass under snow. Had my sight on large tusker when big boy came out to my left.He quartered toward me as I fired, under 20yds,a 260gr partition from FA 454.Broke rib, destroyed
lungs, broke rib and stopped.Recovered bullet weighed 250.3grs losing only 9.7grs!!!

Great boar how was the rest of the ranch, not like some other fenced in places in Pa. I've been to. I enjoyed hunting hogs at wildhill preserve in vermont, ever been there?

Jame66, I sent for the Wildhill brochure, however,I`ve never had the chance to go there. Double Boar Ranch in Pennsylvania was truly a great experience. It
costs more then the average boar hunt but look at what you can get.....JFS
