Whitetail Shed

Description: Found this shed a couple of weeks ago while doing some scouting for this coming deer season. Good tine length, and incredible mass. Turned the place upsidedown looking for the other side by no luck. Sure would be great if my son could get a crack at him with his .357.

I would have sleepless nights dreaming about the buck & the other half of the rack.

Franchise,

I hear you. We have killed some good bucks on this farm but nothing close to this. He is a beast.

TC,

That is a full grown stud! Worth investing in some pre-season trail cams and mineral stations if you don't already

SChunter,
Yep, I am thinking those things through. We found the shed down in a creek bed that could reasonably be called a gorge which is why we have not hunted that area. Hard spot to get in and out of. I am trying to figure out how to hunt that area and am seriously considering putting some kind of mineral station down in there. Not sure on the cameras yet because of the practical problem of getting in and out of there and leaving to much scent.
