Long time ago doe

Description: This Pennsylvania doe was taken quit awhile ago because I used my pre-muzzle brake FA`s 454 and the scope was the excellent Redfield 2-6X that is no longer made. Redfield had a factory in Denver and their handgun scopes were of the highest quality..... The reason I posted this photo was to try and impress on the members, who have not yet taken anything with their handguns, to not wait for a buck but to shot those does for experience and confidence. There are millions of does out there. Go and handgun one of them....

Pulling the trigger on a big doe sure beats just talking about going handgun hunting!

I love shooting does! I love shooting anything & everything with my handguns! I just laugh when I hear guys say "I don't shoot does, the bucks are too small, or I'm waiting to a B & C deer", only to find out these same guys still have never pulled the trigger on a big game animal with a handgun. Life is too short not to get out & hunt. There is nothing one can do with a rifle that can't be done with a handgun!!

Franchise, There are plenty of "hollow" replies to topic questions here. Its usually pretty easy to figure out the "solid" answers... Lets have a drink to
"fences and exotic game"......

Well put James! I know those handgunners with limited bag limits/opportunities may want to save that tag for horns or a trip to the taxidermist, but those of us blessed with liberal bag limits can fill the freezer with delectable does!

SC,
Good point! I would shoot does more consistently if our regulations/ populations would allow for it. When you only have one tag, it makes it easier to be a little pickier.

Maybe I need to make a trip down south some time! Wink
