Copperhead Vs 40S&W

Description: I know we have a few snake lovers on the sight, but I can't have this one around my house. It was about 2.5 long.

I like snakes, but I would have killed this Southern Copperhead too. We live in a transitional area where we have both Northern & Southern Copperheads. About 3 springs ago Jennifer went out to give the pig some water at the barn & when she flipped his trough over, there was a small Northern Copperhead coiled up maybe 18 - 20 inches from her ankle. Needless to say, I beat the **** out of him.

Kim, that is not an easy target when it's moving. LOL

David, I have seen bull snakes and Mississippi mud snakes around here and go out of my way to let them live. With a 3, 6, and 9 year old running around this one didn't have a chance.

This coming from the man who has shot more pigs than all of my quarry combine... LOL

I do take that as a compliment James. Hitting a snack in the head while it is moving is not an easy task...
