Crimp groove

Description: Since this bullet was made for the S&W 500 the crimp groove makes the OAL, for the FA`s 500WE, to long to fit the cylinder. I ran a new cannalure in the jacket so a loaded round would fit in the FA`s cylinder...

In my opinion the Woodleigh bullets are the finest bullets on the market today.

James, have you had any issues of crimp pull? How hot are you running your 400 grainers? Thanks!

Whit, Brian Pearce was running a 400gr Sierra JSP at 1446fps which was to hot for my hand so I used his other 400gr load of 31.0gr of LIlGun and dropped it to an even 30.0grs. Should be running near 1100fps...

Very cool James - what tool did you use to cannelure the bullet?

The meplat on these bullets is as wide as any HC bullet on the market. It looks like they took a razor and cut the top off of the bullet. The flattest point on any jacketed handgun bullet I have seen.
