DSCN1800
Tender Backstraps 2012

Description: Today I shot this spike at 35 yards. Today was the first day of our gun season here in NC. We needed some deer meat & I was happy to help. I love to hunt with a pistol and I hope this is just the start of handgunned trophy photos this deer season. I cleaned & quartered this young buck with a custom knife that was given to me by the living legend himself - Jamesfromjersey. I know he is small/young, but he is a trophy to me because I took him with my pistol.

Dang David, I haven't had a chance to make it into the woods yet with my handgun. Grrrr. Going this weekend. Taking the 45 bisley and the 308 contender. Congrats and good eating.
