hunting handgun, with a 10" barrel and thread protector at the muzzle.....

I thik you'll like it, James. I've got one I put on a 7 1/2" (mine's a Burris FFII). They're especially good at first light and twilight. Not as precise as 'crosshairs', 'but minute of pig', easily.

240, I have Magnaports brake on my FA`s 454 and 475 and I`am very pleased with them. It was necessary for me to brake my 454 after a injury to my right hand wrist and I`am convinced that it reduced felt recoil by 40%. I say this because my wrist no longer swelled up after shooting a coffee can full of factory spec handloads. I had a 5" S&W 629 ported and , to me, there was no reduction in the kick, however, my Mag-na-brake guns are a pleasure to shoot....
