Looked like the one we recovered from my sons buffalo last year. Gotta love a bullet that does what its manufaturer claims it will do.

I agree cfish. I remember back in the day when Hornady was the "crappy" ammo. It's been doing a great job for me, now If they would only sponser me.......

The XTP Mag is one hell of a tough bullet and will handle anything you throw it at with the exception of elephant, rhino and maybe hippo. I just wish they would make it in .510 cal for my linebaugh.

Pasco, you are so right. I remember when the XTP was so soft that it was prone to over expanding. They are a lot tougher now and thankfully don't expand so much. Hornady has come a long way.
