Rod, Do you have any idea as to what the power level will be for the ammo to be used in this gun??

For this one I'm getting 2400fps with a Speer 350gr HotCor I'm guessing when I get the Lott built it will top it by about 200fps. I have 100, 405gr Alpha LaFranck spire points but since they aren't made anymore they will be saved for special occasions.

Rod, I think this gun will have Africa & any other country covered. Looks like you did a great job. I also like the Badger hide in the photo.

Very cool! Rod, what is the recoil like with top-end loads? What does it weigh?

Rod, I guess your motto could be "I build `em and you shoot `em"......

Whit, it's 5.7lbs and I've shot it off bags from the hood of my truck standing and it's not too bad although shooting gloves are a must as I bruised my palm the first time I took it out. You can feel the grip stud through the pachmayrs when it goes off. I tried a real relaxed hold on it once as it didn't seem to rise to bad with a firm grip and it came a little too close to my forehead for comfort. I also shot it at a range off the bench shooting and that I didn't like. I felt it in elbow and shoulder alot worse since your more ridgid when sitting. I fired 3 rounds and put it away, it was just enough to clear the bench next to me Smile When I get the other barrel chambered in Lott I'll try and take a video of it, besides being entertaining it will give people a way of knowing what happened should things go badly and I'm found unconscious or dead Wink

Looks good, but I'm glad I don't have to shoot it.
