Damm shame...

Description: Recovered 44cal. 250gr Nosler Partition from the big pig I just took. This is the first bullet that rolled the boar after taking a chunck out of the spine. The bullet only lost 11.4grs weighing in at 238.6grs. Its a damm shame that Nosler disconntinued their line of Partition bullets for handguns....

Can I get an "Amen"? You run across any of those 250 NP's, you let me know...

Although the 240XTP's shot REALLY well out of my 44FA this past week at the range. Now for the field testing to commence... Wink

When I called Nosler this summer and asked them what bullet they would use in my 357 Max they said, "I've got nothin."

Those bullets were great. I might be able to find something for you that will provide similar results. I'm working on it.

I just came in from my shop; loaded up some 260 NP's over 18.0gr of 2400 for my new FA 97. First time to use them in the 45 colt. Planning on some 250 WFNGC over 17gr of 2400; but got impatient, waiting on boolits! Hoping to test the 260 NP's in a week or so.

doesn't get much better than that! i still can't believe that they discontinued them. I think they had the market in premium hunting hollow points, but now I would have to think that Swift's A-Frame sales have gone up...

I have used this same bullet with success on several deer and hogs. Recovered bullets look much the same except those that struck heavy bone lost the front core. It is a shame such an accurate and deadly bullet was discontinued!
