Description: Got this one while he was chasing a doe. SRH using 300 gr. factory loaded XTPs. Complete pass thru, destroying far side shoulder. Distance was about 55 yards...deer traveled about 10 yards after the shot.

Roger, I live in Craven county but hunt in Halifax and Bertie counties. There are several NC handgun hunters here. We should try to get everyone together for a hog hunt sometime!

Hey guys, I just re-read the description attached to the photo. I didn't mean to imply the buck was running when I shot. He paused briefly...long enough for me to have a decent shot. Sorry if it sounded otherwise.
