LAR Grizzly's

Description: Anyone remember these great auto's? One is a 45 win mag and the other is a 50 A&E.
I have hunted with these auto's a lot in the past and they served me very well.

Nice guns Bud!

I got real itchy around a Grizzly 45 Win Mag last year at an auction...sadly for my "assets", it was one of the very few times I stepped away from a purchase opportunity Smile

Shame, they are great guns. Maybe you will get another chance at one.
I have used a 45 win mag in one of these a lot. Collecting Black Bear, Moose, Elk, Mule Deer, Hogs and even a Turkey, to name a few off the top of my head.

Bud nice pair ya got there.

I had one of the LAR Grizzly Win Mag's in 45 mag. It was always a lucky gun for me. I bought it Fri evening sighted it in Sat morning and killed a bear with it that Sat evening. I also used it on several doe deer and antelope.

Kind of wished I wouldn't have sold it but with it's huge grip I couldn't hang on to it very well.

the grip on these guns where big. If you had a large enough hand and could hang on to it, the recoil was pretty mild.
My fisrt animal taken with a LAR in 45 win mag, was a Black Bear in New Mexico.

That is a VERY under rated pair. Exceptional set!

Thanks for the reveiws. The triggers are pretty good now, but I did work on them. Both shoot excellent. But I got to say that all of them that I have had, shot well. One needs a large hand for them.
These pistol where and are very under rated handguns. It's a shane that in a lot of states that you can handgun hunt in, you can't hunt with these because they are autos. I have done well with both of these guns.
