First Feral Hog

Description: My first feral boar hunt, first hunt with my new FA 83 454 Casull, and first BBD! (Big Boar Down!). got him at All About You Ranch in Oklahoma. Shot him at about 5 yards with 265 grain Swift A Frame with 37.3 grains of H110.


had a great time, and they treated us great down there. shot this one and one more hog which I will get pictures up here soon.

The load i was using seemed to be very accurate even though i did little testing at the range before i went on the trip (not usually my style, but i really wanted to use my new gun!). shot about 1 1/2 to 2 inches at 100 yards, and dead nuts at 50 and closer!
