My First .45auto Kill..

Description: North Park afternoon, lot's of ground squirrels around, my buddies bet I couldn't hit one since they had been trying without success. Of course they had their antelope rifles sighted at 300 yds. No wonder they were shooting a bit hign at 10 yds.

I took out my Ruger P90 and got this on my first shot. No biggie but called for some bragging that evening.

Great kill! It's hard to hit small, twitchy animals!

Hard to say what the distance was, under 50 feet for sure. After some eye surgery I now have 20/15 vision so can shoot a lot better. Last year I got a coyote with a friends rifle and would like to try with the .17HMR. I'll try it if I get a good shot placement sight. Smile
