Description: my bud's elk taken with a 460. guide said it was most impressive wound channel he'd seen on an elk yet from anything and this cow was estimated at almost 700lbs, just over 530 on the scale after gutting.

the corbon 275 grain barnes x bullet, it's right at about 1900fps

i'm guessing just under a hundred yards. that's why i love the 460 and 454. trajectory is so flat compared to many of the bigger calibers i don't have to adjust at all the way out to 150 yards or so the way i have them sighted in
