475 victim

Description: This was a young deer I took in late season. I had not hunted with the 475L all year and decided to give it some action. It was taken at 63 yard broad sided. The 375gr WFN whent through both shoulders making mush of the heart.

ed, so far no problems and I'm shooting the 375's at around 1450fps. I started out with a 2x Nikon on it (2 years, no brake) then up graded to a 2.5x8 Nikon and brake. This is the mount that Gary Reeder recomended plus I had use the Leupold DD base and rings for years on my T/C's without any problems. With the brake installed now, recoil is fairly mild.

David, I've only shot the 325gr XTP's and the 375 WFNGC Montana Bullet Works. The 375's have shot so well, I've seen no need to venture any further, so far.

KRal, bring your 475 Thumper in Dec. even if you don't hunt w/ it. I know I want to see it in person & I'm sure James does too.
