Description: Heres a big feral hog taken at Goldmine Hunting Preserve. 500 S&W 400 gr. platinum tip HP bullets. Platinum Tips were not designed for such a hog. Penetration was horrible. David and Jennifer Ihrie pictured.

Great trophy, and great job! This is why I never use expanding bullets and swear by heavy hardcast flat-points. I don't mind them on deer, but a big hog +, no thanks!
