For me, the addax is one of the best looking of the sprialed horned antalope right up there with the kudu. They are no longer huntable in north Africa and about the only place in the world they can be taken is in Texas where I took him at Buffalo Creek Ranch....

Tracker, You could not have said it better. I can still see the shot I made as he was bedded down behind 2 bushes. It was about 75 and the 45cal partition hit him hard. Struggled to his feet when the guide said to hit him again which put em down...He hangs in my reload room and watches every time I load those partitions....

Be glad you shot him when you did James. The last news I received is that even in Texas, Addax are not allowed to hunted anymore.
