Big Elk Medicine

Description: This is the G2 frame I told you guys about that I got for a steal at Sportsmans. I replaced the factory grips with one of the Pachmayr G2 Decelerator grip and forend sets and I just got the barrel back from Reeder who put the muzzle brake on for me. I'll give you a range report as soon as I get out, I was getting 2100fps with the 260 gr Accubonds and I was shooting sub moa groups, the scope is a Leupold 2.5-8x

I almost forgot I've also honed the action and with the factory spring I'm down to 3.5lbs from the original 6 lb trigger pull and I'm waiting on some springs from Bellm so I can get it down to about 2 lbs.

Theres not an elk on this planet that will be able to withstand the power you can dish out from your 375 JDJ....add to that the fact that she can shoot -moa
groups and I can come up with only one equation:
power + accuracy= dead elk

I actually sold the gun but the muzzle break was excellent and really helped tame the beast. I was running a 260gr Accubond at an honest 2100fps.
