IMGP0913
2007 Badger with Reeder 475

Description: This is the guy that charged me while I was glassing deer last season, just got his hide back. The bullet hole is right under the muzzle of the gun. I was using my 475 with 425 CP hardcast and I hit him when he got to around the 15 to 20 yd mark.

Very nice Rod!! I'd like to get a badger someday. We don't have them here in the east.

Thanks guys, I've only shot two and they were both with handguns but I guess the badger population on the east side of the state is really starting to boom so hopefully next year I'll draw my deer and elk tags for the east side and I can collect some more badger hides.

Very nice. I hear they can be a bit "grumpy".

The story, the hide and the gun make into a unique photo that Reeder should post on his website.....

Thanks for the compliments guys and yes the get pretty cranky, this guy was was quartering away from me at about 30 yds when he saw me and he turned around and came straight for me without hesitation but I guess he won't do that again, it was the ultimate attitude adjustment. lol
