44 Mag bullets

Description: 250 Partition vs. 240 Fusion at 15 yards in a water jug trap.

The Fusion came to rest between gallon jug 3 and 4 after much VIOLENCE. Obviously the large diameter hampered penetration.

The Partition completely penetrated 5 jugs. The damage was violent for a jug and a half, then the Partition settled in to slightly over diameter hole.

The jugs were secured in a 4 sided wood box, sort of like a milk jug Pez dispenser on it's side. The shock of the Fusion broke the box. The Partition drained 6 gallons compared to the Fusion's 4, but the Fusion was more visually impressive with spray and bounce etc.

These bullets seem to be about as close to perfect as possible. Great expansion, excellent weight retention, and the price is great...way to go Matthew

I've never played around with the fusion handgun line, but their rifle offerings are amazing. Especially the 62 grain 223. It puts down deer like a large caliber.

I used the 240 Fusion in my 14 inch 44 mag contender two seasons ago to kill two deer. It did a good job and left a lot of blood on the ground. It also shot great groups from my contender.

I'm curious to see how well the Fusion would hold up after hitting heavy bone?
