Beautiful wood and finish on those stock! What calibers are your flinters? Rifled or smoothbore?

Thanks Pab. All but one of them is curly maple. That is a picture of my Dad’s safe before I moved out.

L to R. 54 rifled, 20 smooth, 53 Darn metric cutters, 20 smooth and choked, 54 rifled, 20 smooth, and the one you can’t see is another 53. The two 20 smoothies have fixed sights on them and shoot a patched ball extremely well.

Those smoothbores are fun. They are versatile enough that you are ready for most any type of game. I have a .56 smoothbore percussion that does about 3" groups at 50 yds with a prb and shoots tight groups of 7-1/2 shot at 25 yards. I have a .62 smoothbore that I have not fired yet.

You are right. I took, holed, a squirrels head off with one at 20 yards. I picked up the squirrel and it had a hole in its head the size of a quarter. Darndest thing I have ever seen. That 20ga round ball does a number on deer and hogs as well. Bang flop is an understatement.
