As you can tell a 10-15LB pig is not big. This was part of a cull hunt. So I was not being particular about size. The one thing about a Target this small is My Ultra Dot covers the animal up. I have the 1 MOA dot and had it turned on the lowest setting I could and still see the dot.
Three hogs came in and I shot a black and white one. This one I swear I hit, and three took off. Less than 1 minute later the 2 black ones came back. Now I am thinking,,,, OH Yeah,,, I got the black and white one.. Wrong !!!
No pic of a dead hog or no dead hog to show the Rancher... IT just did NOT happen. I never was able to find it.
SO meanwhile the hogs did an unusual things and slowed down a little. ( Most times they are like Pin balls) bouncing and running around. Since they came in from the right I decided to take the one on the right first and this might give me a little edge. I was right. I shot the one on the right. Well at least I thought I hit it....Instant re-cock on the FA and I get the pig on the left lined up. I was even more careful squeezing that round off. It acted just like the other 2 pigs !!! No jump no fall no spin just took off running. I am mad coming out of that blind, and start looking for blood. I see it, and it looks like ray Charles could have followed it. About 30yds across the area was the pig next to a tree in a big puddle of blood.
Now you look at that photo and you will have to look hard to see the entrance hole. Funny how that 7 1/2" barrel pistol is almost as big as the animal.
All in all it was a very fun and exciting event. Hog hunting is never never ever dull...

It takes 43 muscles to frown and 17 to smile, but only 3 for proper trigger squeeze.
