Description: Picked up a local used 4 5/8? 44 special flat top a few days ago. Been wanting one for several yrs but hadnt run onto one local in this barrel length.

Thank you very much. I was waiting on my paperwork to clear......and that magazine was laying on the counter.....i seen a photo op lol.
Figure ill try some 240gr cast i have, along with some hodgdon universal. Wont be near the boom you are used to whit.

That is awesome. My second revolver purchase was that exact gun. It spends a lot of time on my hip. I use a 250 wfn on top of 15.5 grains of 2400 for my main load. It's a tack driver!

A work buddy has one in ss. He uses a similar load with 2400, which is what i use in max magnum revolver loads. I have to think that is more recoil than i want for target work. I loaded up some 240gr semi wadcutters with universal to try.
