That Pig had some Hair! Did it have "The Smell" Most of the bores down here are good to eat unless they have the bad Boar Pig Smell. The one I shot early in the season was fine but the Boar from late last year would not have made good dog food.

That is a super 14 30-30 with a factory break. I have the same Ultra-Dot sight on my 14" 45-74 barrel and I swap them around on one frame. Even with those quick ear plugs I get a bit of ear ringing while out in the field. On the range I use plugs and muffs while shooting the 45-70.

I love the 308 it is a real shooter! My buddy was sitting with me waiting on the rain to stop so he could go to his stand--when the deer walked out-- his gun was in the truck I had the old MGM 308 there ready to go. His comment was short when I let-er-go "You got Him"

Hunting in the barn… classic! But it beets getting wet. My favorite spot at was a grain feeder at my Grandparents.
