Thanks for the positive remarks. I love working on my project revolvers like these two. Pride of ownership and reflection on what I value in terms of functionality and refinement. Hope to use them a lot and really make some memories. Made the 500 S&W to be a loaner when buddy hunting as hunting together is great fun for me. Making friends and memories to bank on.
My model 329PD is a backup carry for the wilds and an EDC personal protection urban revolver with 44 Special Honey Badger loads. It can handle up to Double Tap brand 320 grain WFN also. That is why it is dual trapezoidal Mag-Na-Ported and I have X-frame Hogue sorbethane padded rubber grips on it.The S&W brand fluted 44 magnum stainless steel 6-shot cylinder was black powder chamfered by Bowen Classic Arms and they also beveled the charging holes.Mag-Na-Port also polished the hammer and the trigger along with an EDM'ed vertical line with white added below the V-notch rear sight. Helps line up the front sight.

Thank you for that. Your experience is worth knowing in relation to what things I have had done to them. Incidentally the black powder chamfer of the front of the cylinder makes holstering the revolver smoother. No lip to plow leather when holstering and reholstering. And I like the look too. Had it done on my Model 329PD stainless steel replacement cylinder too.
