Actually, Desert Eagle was owned by Magnum Research from day one and Jim Skildum actually came up with the concept. IMI was merely a subcontractor that built the guns for MRI.

This guy seemed to think my DE worked just fine...

Already have my .429 barrel, just hoping Kahr gets its act together and actually offers some hunting loads with good 240 or 300 gr. bullets as well as brass. However, given MRI's long-standing policy about not warrantying your gun if you use handloads, odds are they'll never offer brass for it unless Kahr has abandoned that nonsense.

BH1: WHEN YOU GET THE 429DE BARREL SHOOTING PLEASE GIVE US A MV AND ACCURACY REPORT, AND WHEN IT GETS BLOODIED, PLEASE POST. NOT MANY GUYS SEEM TO USE THE DE's FOR HUNTING, BUT THAT DOES NOT MEAN IT IS NOT A GOOD GUN.
